Isn't this just an upsell on something I could DIY?

If you have design skill and time, you can DIY it. This service exists for the more common case — the template's structure is good, but making it actually look like your brand takes more than swapping a logo and a font.

Can you customize a template I bought somewhere else, not from this site?

Yes — bring the file; Single Template and Full Pack both work on outside templates as long as you own a valid license for it.

What if I don't have a brand palette or typeface yet?

Buy a brand kit from the catalogue first (from $59), or start with Brand Identity Kit if you need a full system.

Why is this so much cheaper than the other services?

It's a narrower job — adapting an existing structure, not designing one from nothing — which is why it's also the fastest turnaround in the catalogue.
