Frequently asked.
Eighteen to twenty-two real questions, answered directly — grouped by what you're actually trying to figure out.
Purchasing & licensing
What's the difference between the Standard and Extended license?
Standard covers your own and client projects. Extended adds the right to build the assets into a product you sell — a template, a theme, a paid system — still with no standalone resale of the raw files.
Can I use a product for a client's project, not just my own brand?
Yes — the Standard license explicitly covers client work, with no limit on the number of projects.
Do product updates come free, or do I have to repurchase?
These are one-time purchases, delivered as-is. If a meaningful revision ships to a specific kit, past buyers get the updated files at the same download link, at no extra charge.
What software do I need to open the files?
Depends on the product — Figma (free plan works), Canva (free plan works), Adobe Illustrator for AI/EPS files, or a free Notion account for the Notion systems. Each product page lists exactly what’s needed.
Can I get a refund on a digital product?
Digital downloads are non-refundable once the download link is issued — standard for this kind of product. Faulty or misdescribed files are always replaced or refunded.
Is sales tax added at checkout?
Yes — "Estimated sales tax" (9.20% for Louisiana billing addresses, 0% elsewhere) is calculated and shown before you place your order.
Projects & revisions
How do service packages work — is this the same as hiring a freelancer by the hour?
No — every package publishes a fixed price, a fixed deliverable list, and a fixed revision count before you buy. There’s no hourly clock and no open-ended scope.
What happens if I need more revisions than the package includes?
Extra rounds beyond a tier’s published count are quoted as an addition once the need is clear — contact the studio during the project.
What if I don't have brand assets yet and I want Website Design?
Start with Brand Identity Kit, or add both to your cart together — Website Design assumes a brand system exists to design from.
Can I combine a product purchase with a service package in one order?
Yes — the cart supports products and services together in one checkout.
What if my project doesn't fit any of the five published packages?
That's a bespoke scope — go to /contact/ for a project priced after a short call, rather than guessed at on the pricing page.
How does the studio communicate during a project?
Primarily by email, starting once you send your order reference to support@pixeldesignpoint.com — the studio replies within 1 business day; the top Website Design tier includes one handoff call.
Refunds
Can I get a refund on a service package?
Full refund if you cancel before kickoff. After kickoff, undelivered milestones are refunded pro-rata. A single scheduled session within the engagement — a kickoff call, a review or presentation call, a consultation — follows a different rule: cancel or reschedule free up to 24 hours before it’s due to start; inside 24 hours, up to 50% of that session’s fee may apply, or it counts as used.
What counts as a "faulty or misdescribed" file?
A file that’s corrupted, missing listed contents, or genuinely doesn’t match what the product page describes — not a change of mind after opening it.
What if I'm not happy with the direction after the first round of a service project?
That’s what the remaining published revision rounds are for — feedback gets applied round by round within the count your tier includes.
Do you offer a satisfaction guarantee?
Not as an open-ended promise. What’s guaranteed specifically: faulty or misdescribed files are replaced or refunded, and service refund terms follow the timeline above — nothing broader than that is claimed.
General
Where is pixeldesignpoint based, and do you work with clients outside Louisiana?
Based in Metairie, Louisiana; the studio works with clients remotely across the US.
Is this a big agency or a small studio?
A small, boutique studio — the catalogue and the five services are deliberately curated rather than broad, and the studio doesn’t claim a large team it doesn’t have.
How do I contact the studio?
/contact/ for a project enquiry, or support@pixeldesignpoint.com directly — replies within 1 business day, Mon–Fri 8–6, Sat 9–4 CT.
Do you offer rush turnaround?
Published turnaround times are the standard timeline for each package; if your date is tighter, contact the studio before purchasing to check whether it’s feasible before you commit.
Can I see examples of your work before I buy or hire?
The Work page shows the studio’s own in-house process and craft behind the products actually sold on this site.
Do you have a newsletter or a way to follow new products?
Not currently — check /products/ directly for what’s in the catalogue.
